Forgotten your password? Don’t worry, it happens to the best of us. Some more than most. So, to reset your password here’s what you need to do:

First, you’ll need to go to our login page, either directly at https://www.cognician.com/login or by clicking the ‘login’ link on our homepage.

Below the two text fields where you enter your email address and password, you’ll see the statement “Forgotten your password? Please reset your password using your email address here.” The word ‘here’ is a link that you’ll see in blue. Click on this link.

Once you’ve clicked on this link, you’ll be taken to https://www.cognician.com/reset-password. This page contains a single text field with the words ‘Email Address’ inside it. Click in this text field and enter the email address that you use for your Cognician account.

Once you’ve entered your email address click on the blue ‘Continue’ button that you’ll see below the text field. Clicking this button will send you an email to the address you specified. You’ll be taken to a web page that confirms this.

Now, visit your email address and open the email we sent you. Clink on the link contained in this email and you’ll be taken to a page that contains the text fields ‘New password’ and ‘Confirm new password’. Enter your desired password in both these text fields.

Finally, click on the blue ‘Reset’ button that you see below the two text fields. This will reset your password and take you back to our login page. From here, all you need to do is type in your email address and new password, and then you’re good to go!
