Need to feel a bit more secure? Don’t worry, because changing your password is quick and easy. Here’s how to change it.

Once you’re logged into Cognician, you’ll see a black sidebar at the top of our web page. This sidebar contains links that take you to all the places you need to go.

One of these links, second from the right, has your name on it. No, really. It’s to the left of the ‘sign out’ link that you see. Once you click on this name-bearing link you’ll be taken to your profile page.

Once you’re on your profile page you’ll see a red button that says ‘Change password…’ - click on this link and you’ll be taken to our page for changing your password.

This page will contain three text fields followed by a blue button to send the changes through. Simply type in your current password in the top text field that says, ‘Current password’ and your new password in the following two text fields below.

Once you’ve done this, click on the blue ‘Change password’ button and your password will be replaced. A green notification at the top of the page will tell you that your password has been changed.

If you don’t know your current password, then please logout and follow the steps to reset your password.

Now use the black sidebar to go back to where you need to be, because you’re all done on the password front!
