I can't log into my Cognician account. What do I do?

Trouble getting in? No worries. We’ll find a way for you.

If you’re creating an account yourself, the first step is to take a look at our guide for creating an account and check to see if you’ve missed a step. When you submit your email address on our signup page Cognician sends you an email to verify your address and let you choose a password. So, check your promotional or spam folders for this email if the message didn’t land in your inbox. Once you find it, you can open the message to confirm your account and choose a password (if you haven’t already done so).

If you didn’t receive an email and you’re told that your email isn’t on our system, then it’s possible that you entered an incorrect email address during signup. If this is the case, please revisit our signup page and try again. You’ll then be able to finish creating your account through the link we email to you.

The same goes if your account was set up on your behalf: if you didn’t receive an email from us, then contact your group administrator to double-check the email address assigned to your Cognician account.

If it’s your first time logging in with us from an account that someone else set up for you, then please check the email address your organisation used for your Cognician account. We’ll have sent you an email with a link that activates your account and let you choose a password.

If you’ve logged into Cognician before but are having a bit of trouble getting in this time around, then check that you’ve used the right email address and password logging in with us. Our login page will notify you below each text field to let you know if either of these are incorrect. And if you can’t for the life of you remember what your password is, then follow these steps to reset it and start afresh.
